1960-1963 Science Researcher. Main topic: Research on signal processing in the human auditory system. 
1963-1964 Visiting honorary fellow at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wis, USA. Research on signal processing in a single auditory neurons in the cat auditory cortex. 
1963-1976 the head of laboratory at the Acoustics Institute. Research in human hearing, dolphin echolocation, signals processing in the dolphin auditory system. 
1976-1989 Head of a department at the Acoustics Institute. The main research in acoustic pattern recognition in technical and biological systems. 
1989-1990 First deputy director of the Acoustics Institute. 
1990-present time. Director of the N.N. Andreyev Acoustics Institute
